The Blackstone Emporium, Inc. opened its doors for business in December of 1980. Franklin Winn and his son, Frankie, sold antiques, low-end furniture, and novelty items. Frankie's wife, Beth, joined the staff in 1988. Over the next ten years, the family business turned to medium and high-end home furnishings and accessories.

Since 1991, the Blackstone Emporium, Inc. has housed one of the largest Flexsteel Upholstery galleries north of Atlanta, Georgia. A large collection of styles and fabrics along with superior service and quality have made this line so appealing to our customers. Though our store has catered to the more traditional tastes, we continue to add more furniture lines that offer urban flair and eclectic appeal.

Although the size of our store has doubled since 1980, we continue to maintain a friendly, small-town atmosphere. Our customers are treated like family and we strive to make their shopping experiences productive.

As we approach our 25th year in business, we realize that the success of our store can be attributed to scores of loyal customers who have become our friends. They have brought in neighbors and family members who have become valued customers. Thank you for your lasting support!
